The mountain gorilla is one of the two subspecies of the eastern gorilla. It is listed as endangered by the IUCN as of 2018.
Where the Mountain gorilla lives
Recorded in Uganda, Rwanda and Dem. Rep. Congo (Africa).
Most records fall in Kisoro, Kanungu, Northern, Western, Kabale and Nord-Kivu.
