Linckia laevigata, sometimes called the blue Linckia, or blue star, is a species of sea star commonly found in the shallow waters of the tropical Indo-Pacific.

Recorded in Indonesia, Ashmore and Cartier Is., Fiji, Philippines, Palau, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Solomon Is., Wallis and Futuna Is., Vanuatu, Cook Is., Samoa, Micronesia and Thailand (Asia and Oceania).
Most records fall in `Uvea, Koror, Bali, Western Australia, Fa'asaleleaga and Shefa.
